Before becoming a member of International Rivers Sandie labored in human resources at a crusing club and college within the San Francisco Bay Area. From 2019-2023, he served on the advisory board for the Minister of Natural Resources and Environment and as a member of the Human and Elephant Conflict Commission for the House of Representatives in Thailand. Along with her work for International Rivers, Guneet is engaged on her PhD analysis at Humboldt University, Berlin. Prior to becoming a member of International Rivers, Rin worked intently with people’s networks in Thailand, including these impacted by the Rasi Salai dam and Assembly of the Poor. Rin has a bachelor’s diploma in Community Development and a Master’s diploma in Development Management and Governance. Rin works with neighborhood and civil society networks in Thailand to guard the Mekong River and advocate for higher accountability of buyers in hydropower within the Mekong region. Maureen works with people’s movements and civil society partners to guard very important transboundary rivers within the area from destructive dams and different developments.

She graduated in Social Communication (Journalism) from Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo and holds two submit-graduate degrees in Communication Management in Digital Media (Senac) and Organizational Communications and Public Relations from USP. Somsak holds a master’s diploma in environmental science from Murdoch University, Western Australia. Jib holds a bachelor’s diploma in accounting from Kasetsart University. Monti has a Bachelor’s diploma in Anthropology and a Master’s degree from New York University in Environmental Education and Conservation.
